What We offer

Q: Do I need to make a reservation? 
A:  Monday-Friday: Open Seating (no reservations accepted).
     Saturday & Sunday: Reservations are required. Click here to make a reservation.  

Q: Do I need to bring my own tables & chairs? 
A: No. You are more than welcome to bring a blanket, but we ask that you do not bring tables & chairs.
   
April-October: Penns Woods has 80+ tables on our lawn & under our open-air pavilion. 
    November-March: Outdoor seating is limited during the colder months as we put the majority of our seating into storage for the season. 
    **
Pop up tents, canopies and umbrellas are prohibited. 

Q: Do you have time restrictions for a reservation? 
A: Yes. Tables are booked with the following time restrictions:
    Outdoor Seating (April - October): 3 hour limit
    Indoor Seating (November - March): 2 hour limit. We will hold your table for a maximum of 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, your reservation is subject to cancellation. If you are running late, please contact us at 610.459.0808 to inform us of your late arrival. ​

Q: Do you offer wine tastings? 
A: Yes! Wine tastings are $18.00/person and include a sample pour of 5 pre-selected wines that cater to a dry palate with a take-home souvenir wine glass.
Monday-Friday we offer self-guided wine flights under our enclosed patio. Groups are limited to 6 or less.
Saturdays & Sundays (April-October) wine tastings are offered at our standing tasting bar under our enclosed patio. We allow a max of 4 guests per party at one time. November-March, tasting flights are available table side under our enclosed patio. Children and pets are not permitted in our enclosed patio space.
-Please note, our tastings are always held under our enclosed indoor patio which is for adults 21+ ONLY. We do not allow children or pets in this space. 
-Our Tasting Menu is always changing, view our current tasting selection here.

 
Q: Do you offer tours? 
A: Yes. We offer Vineyard tours on select Saturdays in June-August. Please see our event page on our website for dates & details. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance as tours may sell out. Tours are $10 per person and free for Wine Club Members.

Food & Alcohol

​Q: Do you have a restaurant or sell food? 
A: We are not a full service facility. We do sell an assortment of local items including cheeses, spreads, crackers, cured meats etc. ala cart. Click here to see our current selection.

During the winter months, we also offer pre-made charcuterie boards for Saturday & Sunday reservations (November-March). These MUST purchased in advance and MUST be pre-ordered no later than 9am the same day as the guest's reservation. 
 
Q: Can we bring our own food? 
A: We do not allow outside food (food not purchased at Penns Woods) under our enclosed patio or outdoor pavilion. Guests enjoying outdoor lawn seating may pack their
    own picnic. Guest are required to dispose of all food & waste. Trash and recycling bins are located throughout the property. We do not allow buffet style set ups, hot
    plates, sternos or any outside catering without prior approval.

Q: Do you sell alcohol other than wine? 
A: Yes. We offer a rotating selection of local beer & hard cider (by the can) that can be purchased for on-site consumption. We are not licensed to sell beer to-go.
​**Outside alcohol (alcohol not sold by Penns Woods) is NEVER allowed on premise. **

Q: Do you ship wine? 
A: Yes. We ship within Pennsylvania, New Jersey and now New York! Local delivery & curbside pick-up is available too! 

Large Groups  &  Private Events

​Q: Can I make a reservation for a large group? 
A: Our max group size for Outdoor Lawn Seating is 10. Our max group size for our Enclosed Patio seating is 6. Guests may not book more than one table to        accommodate a larger group.

Q: Do you host private events? Do you host weddings?
A: Yes! We are able to host events for groups of 50 or less. 
    We do not host weddings or receptions. To inquire about a private event, click here.


Q: Can your winery accommodate buses or limos? 
A: No. We do not allow buses, limos or large passenger vans on site. 

Q: Can we bring decoration/ balloons?
A: No. We do not allow balloons or any hanging decor of ANY kind. You can bring your own tablecloths, glasses & flatware.

​Q: Can I have photos taken in the vineyard? 
A: Yes. We allow photos in the vineyard during specific seasons. We have a photography fee & require advance booking.

General Questions

​Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Dogs are not permitted under the Enclosed Patio or Outdoor Pavilion. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome on our Outdoor Lawn Seating area. 
**Service animals are welcome in all public spaces**

Q: Are children allowed? 
A: Guests under 21 years of age are not permitted under the Enclosed Patio or Outdoor Pavilion. Our Outdoor Lawn Seating is family-friendly.
    Children are welcome, but must be supervised by an adult at all times.

 
Q: Are you handicap accessible?
A: Yes. Our Outdoor Lawn Seating and Enclosed Patio are wheelchair accessible. We also have an outdoor restroom that is handicap accessible.

Q: Can I bring a tent or my own umbrella? 
A: No. We do not allow guests to bring their own pop up tents, canopies or umbrellas.
 
Q: Can I smoke at the winery? 
A: The use of cigarettes, cigars & electronic smoking devices is permitted in our designated smoking area ONLY, away from our seating, entrances & other guests.
 
Q: Can I bring a speaker to listen to music? 
A: No. Amplified music is prohibited. We have live music outdoors (weather permitting) every Saturday & Sunday May-October.

Q: During cooler weather, do you have outdoor fire pits and/or heaters?
A: No. Our only heated space during the cooler months is our enclosed patio/deck.
