What does my membership entail? 

Penns Woods Direct members receive a 4, 6 or 12 bottle wine shipment, 3 times per year. 

Our allocation months for Penns Woods Direct are:

Penns Woods Direct members enjoy discounts on wine & merch as well as discounted flat-rate shipping. 

What wines are included in my allocation? Is it customizable?

Our winemaker selections will vary depending on season, new releases, etc.

Members can always customize their order by adding to or swapping wines in order to receive an allocation that best fits their needs. 

Members will receive an email notification of the wines that are to be included in their allocation 2 weeks prior to the billing date. Any changes to your allotment must be made beforehand. We do not allow customization or permit refunds after your order has been processed.  

Our curated selections are designed primarily for those who enjoy dry wines. Availability of sweet and semi-sweet wines are not guaranteed year round due to limited production.

What is the pricing structure and billing procedure?

Our membership is free to join & you may opt out at any time after your first allocation. 

Each allocation will vary in price depending on which wines are included, however, in general you can expect each level of membership to fall around the price below:

Keystone: $135 including shipping

Heritage: $215 including shipping

Founders: $450 including shipping

The billing date is on the 1st of each allocation month. Please note any changes to your allocation, membership level or status must be made prior to the billing date.

How does shipping work?

Penns Woods Direct Members will have their card on file charged on the first of of their allocation month with wines shipped within 7 business days of the billing date.

We ship to the following states: AK, AZ, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NY, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY

Please note:

  • We ship UPS Ground on all orders. In extreme temperatures (below 35F & above 90F), a representative from the winery will contact you regarding your shipping options. Your shipment may be delayed in order to prevent damage to the wine.
  • UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. A physical address must be provided.
  • Once orders ship, customers are provided a UPS tracking number.
  • Upon delivery, the recipient will be required to show identification verifying they are over 21 years of age.
  • After one missed delivery attempt, UPS will redirect the shipment to a nearby UPS Access Point rather than re-attempting delivery the next day. The package is held at the Access Point for up to 7 days at no charge. If it isn’t picked up within that window, it will be returned to Penns Woods Winery and you will be contacted regarding either pick up or reshipping.
  • Standard shipping rates apply to any orders being reshipped. Flat rate shipping rates are only available for the first shipment attempt. 

Exclusive Member Shipping Rates

As a Penns Woods Direct subscriber, you’ll also enjoy exclusive flat-rate shipping on additional wine purchases throughout the year, as well as any extra bottles added to your scheduled shipments.

  • 3–4 bottles: $15 flat-rate shipping
  • 5–6 bottles: $20 flat-rate shipping
  • 7–12 bottles: $25 flat-rate shipping

Flat-rate shipping applies to shipments of 3–12 bottles. Orders containing 1–2 bottles are shipped at standard carrier rates. The maximum quantity eligible for flat-rate shipping is 12 bottles per shipment.

How can I change my membership level or status?

Penns Woods Direct members are permitted to skip an allocation at any time. To skip, you must do so in your member portal 48 hours before the billing date. 

You may change your membership level at any time. If you wish to move up or down a level you must do so at least 48 hours prior to the billing date. To do so, email andrea@pennswoodswinery.com.

Term & Conditions

  • You affirm that you are over 21 years of age.
  • You agree to authorize Penns Woods Winery to store payment information & charge the credit card on file for the above Wine Club membership, including applicable taxes & shipping costs.
  • You agree that your email will be the main form of communication for receiving notifications in regard to your Wine Club membership.
  • Penns Woods Winery does not offer international sales or shipping at this time.

  • Estate, Premier Cru & Grand Cru Wine Club orders must be picked up within 60 days of the billing date. 
  • Please reach out directly to the Wine Club Manager to request early or delayed shipment. 
  • Penns Woods Direct is designed for members who enjoy our wines from afar & therefore does not include the on-site benefits offered with our local memberships. If your travels bring you to the winery, we’d love to meet you. Please contact our Wine Club Manager before your visit & we’ll be happy to discuss your plans

What does my membership entail? 

A Signature Estate, Premier Cru & Grand Cru wine club membership is a commitment to quarterly allotments of 3, 6 or 12 bottles of wine.

Certain levels carry additional benefits such as access to library wines & complimentary tickets to pairing events.

How do I pick up my allocation? Do you ship?

Estate, Premier Cru & Grand Cru members may pick up their allocation from our Tasting Room at anytime after the billing date. Please note:

  • Estate, Premier Cru & Grand Cru wine club orders must be picked up within 60 days of the billing date. 
  • Please reach out directly to the Wine Club Manager to request a pick up extension or to have your wines shipped. Shipping fees will be charged to the card on file. Please note Estate, Premier Cru & Grand Cru members do not receive the discounted flat rate shipping offered to Penns Woods Direct members.
  • Forfeiture Clause: If you have not claimed your allocation within 60 days of the billing date or confirmed other arrangements with our Wine Club Manager, then your order will be considered forfeited. Forfeited wines will be returned to inventory and no refunds, exchanges or replacements will be issued. By maintaining this policy, we ensure proper storage, accurate inventory & timely access to limited production wines.
  • Should a Wine Club member miss two consecutive allocations without communicating with the winery, we will suspend your membership benefits until we hear from you.

Approximately three weeks before each billing date, you’ll receive an email announcing the featured wines and opening your customization window. Any changes to your shipment must be completed before your order is processed.

To ensure the highest quality delivery experience, shipping dates are announced prior to billing and may vary with each allocation to avoid wine remaining in transit over weekends or during unfavorable weather conditions.

Please note that once an order has been processed, we are unable to make changes, substitutions, or issue refunds.

Our curated selections are designed primarily for those who enjoy dry wines. Availability of sweet and semi-sweet wines are not guaranteed year round due to limited production.
