Visiting Us

Everything you need to know about our grounds, facilities, what we                offer & what to expect on your visit.

Our beautiful 30 acre property has three spaces for guests to enjoy: The Tasting Room, Lawn & Pavilion. 

Tasting Room

Monday-Friday: Seating is first come, first served.

Saturdays & Sundays: Reservations are required.

Our indoor facility is open year round on the weekdays & open on weekends November- mid April. From mid April - October, Lawn Seating is where all service takes place. In the event of rain on a Saturday or Sunday during this period, our Tasting Room will open & all indoor seating will be first come, first served. 

Lawn Seating 

Seating on the lawn is first come, first served for groups of 10 or less.

11-20 guests MUST book a Shade Sail Rental (bookings available April-October)

20+ guests, please inquire about our Private Event rates & packages.

Pavilion & Firepits

Pavilion seating is not guaranteed due to private events and/or workshops. If this is space is not reserved for an event, seating is available on a first come, first served basis: Inquire about a Private Event or peruse our upcoming workshops.

Tasting Room

We require reservations on Saturdays & Sundays (November-March). Weekdays are walk in only. 

  • Booking & making changes to your reservation can be done online. You may also call our Tasting Room at 610.459.0808. 
  • Please note we can only accommodate groups of 6 or less for indoor seating. 

Due to the intimate size of our indoor space, reservations are booked in the following two-hour time blocks:

11:00am - 1:00pm

11:30am - 1:30pm

1:30pm - 3:30pm

2:00pm - 4:00pm

4:00pm - 6:00pm

4:30pm - 6:30pm

Your reservation is for a table inside our Tasting Room. You may elect to do a wine tasting, order wine by the glass & bottle and/or enjoy a rotating selection of gourmet local cheeses, meats & snack items.  View our current menu.

 

Lawn Seating

We welcome walk ins daily for small groups. 

 

Pavilion & Firepits

Seating is not guaranteed due to private events and/or workshop.  If this space is unreserved, seating is first come, first served for guests 21+ Inquire about a Private Event or Peruse our upcoming workshops. 

Aside from a handful of special events a year, we offer wine tastings daily. Tastings are $18 per person & include a rotating selection of five wines. View our current line up. Please note the following service set up:

Tasting Room

Indoors, we pour wine flights for a self-guided exploration. Our staff is on hand chat about the wines & answer any questions you may have.

Lawn Seating

On Saturdays & Sundays mid April - October, we pour tastings one-by-one at a standing tasting bar. Guests may walk up to the bar for a tasting at any time during their visit. Please note our outdoor tasting bar hours are 11:00am - 5:00pm

Vineyard Tours are offered on select dates June-September. You can purchase tickets online or by calling our Tasting Room at 610.459.0808. At all other times our vineyard is closed to the public. Click HERE to view upcoming tour dates & purchase tickets.

We serve a rotating selection of gourmet local cheeses, charcuterie, crackers, jams, honey & snack items. View our current menu

We do not permit picnics inside our Tasting Room but guests are welcome to bring their own food while enjoying Lawn Seating. 

Please note we do not have a restaurant on site & only host food trucks for select special events.

Please note we are not licensed to sell beer & cider to-go. Per law, any alcohol not provided by Penns Woods Winery is not permitted on our property. All coolers are subject to random check. 

Large Groups & Private Events

Make us your go-to gather place for friends & family. Get all of the details for groups of 11-20 & for groups 20+

Our beautiful grounds & vineyard views make for the perfect space to gather for a family celebration, shower, holiday party or corporate outing!

We provide package options for a wide range of events & budgets. Please fill out a Private Event Inquiry Form to request information. Please note the following:

  • Tasting Room rentals are available for evening events on weekdays November-March
  • Pavilion rentals are available April-October
  • Luxury Picnics must be booked through Harp & Hare
  • We do not host weddings/receptions or events for guests under 21 (child birthdays, high school graduations, etc.)

11-20 guests MUST book a Shade Sail Rental

20+ guests, please inquire about our Private Event rates & packages.

Groups over 10 guests arriving without a prior booking are subject to a $100 minimum Large Group fee upon arrival. Additional fees may apply depending on the size & scale of unauthorized gatherings.

Tasting Room

Due to the intimate size of our indoor facility, we do not book reservations for groups larger than 6 guests. Please inquire about renting this space for a Private Event

In order to best prepare & serve your party, groups of 11-20 guests MUST book a Shade Sail Rental in advance. 

This reservation requires a $200 nonrefundable booking fee.  

All Shade Sail Rentals are accommodated in a semi-private setting under shade sail on our Lawn. As such, this reservation is weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather, you will be contacted to cancel or reschedule your reservation & your booking fee will be refunded or transferred to the new date. 

We do not permit balloons, glitter, confetti, hanging decor & other items that may be harmful to the environment.

Guests may bring their own tablecloths, glasses, flatware & flowers. 

We serve a rotating selection of local cheese, meats & snack items but guests are welcome to pack picnics when sitting outdoors. View our current menu here.

For Private Events, we work with a selection of preferred caterers but can often accommodate a different choice. Please reach out to our Event Coordinator to inquire.

Guests are not permitted to grill, set up chafing pans, light sternos or utilize the outlets for heated food dishes.

Guests are required to completely clear their table of food, trash, recycling & belongings.

We do not allow buses, limos or passenger vans on site. Please make other arrangements to safely get to & from our facility.

Photos on our grounds & in our vineyard are permitted with prior arrangement.

Our preferred photographer is Erin Ingraffia. Please reach out directly with her to arrange your photo session.

If our preferred photographer is unavailable or you would like to work with someone else, a photography fee is required. Please call our Tasting Room to book an appointment.

Pets are welcome & must be leashed, well behaved & cleaned up after. Please note our friendly vineyard dogs roam the property off leash.

Lawn Seating is always family friendly.

Families are encouraged to sit in the lower field where there is plenty of room for children to play. Children must be supervised at all times.

Please note that our Tasting Room & Pavilion (aside from Private Events) are reserved for guests 21+

Our parking lot has designated handicap parking for those that require it.

The enclosed patio portion of our Tasting Room & indoor restrooms are ADA compliant.

Lawn Seating & our Pavilion are also wheelchair accessible. 

Please note that Lawn Seating is sprawling & we are happy to shuttle guests to & from their table should it be required.

The use of cigarettes, cigars & electronic smoking devices is permitted in our designated smoking area ONLY, away from our seating areas, entrances & other guests. 

We host a rotating set of talented local musicians every Friday, Saturday & Sunday April-October. All live music is on the lawn & thus weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather, music will be cancelled for the day. See our live music schedule

We do not permit guests to bring speakers/amplify music of their own. 

During the cooler weather months we have a limited number of fire pits that are available on a first come, first served basis.
