Membership Levels

Choose from a 3, 6 or 12 bottle quarterly allocation (March, June, September & November). 

Enjoy our winemaker’s selections or customize your order to suit your palate. You may elect for your allotment to include a mix of white, rosé & red wine or you may choose red wine only.

Grand Cru

For the serious collector with age worthy selections to cellar & explore over time.

Wine Club FAQ

Everything you need to know about our Wine Club program. Please reach out to our Wine Club Manager if you have additional questions.

Your wine club membership is a commitment to quarterly allotments of either 3, 6 or 12 bottles of wine.

Our allocation months are as follows:

Members also receive discounts on wine by the glass & bottle, complimentary tastings, complimentary vineyard tours, access to member exclusive events, access to previews & member discounts on select event tickets. Please note the wine discount received & amount of complimentary services will vary depending on your membership level. Certain levels carry additional benefits such as access to library wines & complimentary tickets to pairing events.

Members may choose an allocation that is either "Red Wine Only" or "Mixed Wine" (red, white & rose) 

Our winemaker selections will vary depending on season, new releases, etc.

Members can always customize their order by adding to or swapping wines in order to receive an allocation that best fits their needs. 

Members will receive an email notification of the wines that are to be included in their allocation 2 weeks prior to the billing date. Any changes to your allotment must be made beforehand. We do not allow customization or permit refunds after your order has been processed.  

Please note our Wine Club caters to a dryer palate. 

Our membership is free to join & you may opt out at any time after your first allocation. 

Each allocation will vary in price depending on which wines are included, however, in general you can expect each level of membership to fall around the price below:

Estate: $100

Premier Cru: $200+

Grand Cru: $400+

The billing date is on the 1st of each allocation month. (March, June, September & November). Please note any changes to your allocation, membership level or status must be made prior to the billing date.

Members may pick up their allocation from our Tasting Room at anytime after the billing date. Please note:

  • All allocations must be picked up within 60 days.
  • If you have not claimed your allocation within 60 days the wine will be returned to inventory. To receive a credit to your account for wines returned to inventory, please reach out to the Wine Club Manager.  Please note a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit. Credits may not be applied to future allocations & must be used within one year of the billing date of your missed allocation.
  • During the winter months (November-March) reservations must be made on Saturdays & Sundays to sit inside the Tasting Room. All other times, members may simply swing by!

 

If you would like to have your allocation delivered, we ship to the following states: PA, NJ, NY, D.C. & FL. Please note:

  • We ship UPS Ground on all orders. In extreme temperatures (below 35F & above 90F), a representative from the winery will contact you regarding your shipping options. Your shipment may be delayed in order to prevent damage to the wine.
  • UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. A physical address must be provided.
  • Upon delivery, the recipient will be required to show identification verifying they are over 21 years of age.
  • UPS will attempt to deliver packages containing alcohol 3 times before shipping back. If a shipment is sent back to Penns Woods Winery, we will contact you to either pick up or re-ship. Re-shipping fees will apply.

You may change your membership level at any time. If you wish to move up or down a level you must do so at least 48 hours prior to the billing date. 

You permitted to skip one quarterly allocation per year and still retain your membership benefits. To skip, please notify our Wine Club Manager 48 hours before the billing date. 

If you wish to put your membership on hold or cancel, please reach out to our Wine Club Manager to discuss all available options. 

  • You affirm that you are over 21 years of age.
  • You agree to authorize Penns Woods Winery to store payment information & charge the credit card on file for the above Wine Club membership, including applicable taxes & shipping costs.
  • You agree that your email will be the main form of communication for receiving notifications in regard to your Wine Club membership.
  • Penns Woods Winery does not offer international sales or shipping at this time.
  • We are licensed to ship in PA, NJ, NY, D.C. & FL

  • All wines in this club are sold in PA & the title passes to the buyer in PA. Penns Woods makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any area outside of PA.
  • Wines chosen for each shipment cannot be substituted unless customized prior to the billing date.
  • This membership is free to join & you may opt out at any time after you receive your first allocation.
  •  Members are permitted to skip one allocation per calendar year without suspension of membership or benefits.
  • Wine Club orders processed prior to cancellation are nonrefundable.
  • Wine Club orders must be picked up within 60 days of the billing date. Please reach out directly to the Wine Club Manager for accommodation in circumstances that may require a delayed pickup.
  • If you have not claimed your allocation within 60 days the wine will be returned to inventory. To receive a credit to your account for wines returned to inventory, please reach out to the Wine Club Manager. Please note a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit. Credits may not be applied to future allocations & must be used within one year of the billing date of your missed allocation.
  • Should a Wine Club member miss two consecutive allocations without communicating with the winery, we will suspend your membership benefits until we hear from you.  
  • A membership may include up to two 21+ individuals who share a household. A member must be present in order for benefits to be utilized. 
  • Please note there are certain events that are open to membership holders exclusively but we also host events that allow members to share the experience with family & friends.
