Tasting Room Sales & Hospitality Associate

Our Tasting Room Sales & Hospitality Associates are outgoing, love people & have a passion for wine. This high energy position entails selling wine & wine club memberships while telling the story of our small, family-owned winery & the exciting wine being made in Pennsylvania! We strive to provide a memorable experience through our excellent customer service & premium products. Join our enthusiastic team & learn more about wine. 

This is a part-time (up to 30 hrs/week) position requires a minimum of 2 full weekends (4 individual weekend days) a month and select week days if needed.

Tasting Room Duties Include:
•  Provide guests with outstanding hospitality. Interact with customers in a professional, energetic and friendly manner.
•  Educate guests on our story and our wines.
•  Work alongside other tasting room team members and the ability to work alone.
•  Exceptional sales and hospitality skills.
•  Promote Wine Club Memberships.
•  Answer phone and assist with customer requests and questions.
•  Represent the winery at outside events as necessary.
•  Maintain Tasting Room cleanliness and merchandise displays.

This position requires weekends and open week day availability. We appreciate the flexibility to help out with evening events, or off-site pouring as needed.

Qualifications:
•  Written/verbal communication skills.
•  Computer proficiency required/POS knowledge preferable.
•  Outstanding customer service skills.
•  Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
•  Wine knowledge preferred.
•  Professional appearance and demeanor.
•  Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift/carry 50 lbs.
•  Reliable form of transportation
•  21 years of age or older.

NOTE: This part-time job has the possibility of full time advancement! We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, can multi-task, and are extremely reliable. Knowledge of wine is a plus but not required!

Full Training will be provided along with RAMP training (Responsible Alcohol Management Program).
